Why was it important for europeans to find a direct trade route to asia

The main reason why Europeans wanted to find a direct trade route to Asia was because, with the fall of Constantinople, the Ottoman Turks had come to dominate the Silk Road. This was the land passage that Europe had used to trade with Asia. Under Turk control, the trade became more dangerous and difficult. Therefore, Europeans wanted to find a direct route so that they could avoid dealing with the new regime of the Ottoman Turks.

after the aryan's settled in india they changed for the better i bellieve they changed from nomads having to keep moving to being farmers   they were aswell avaible to turn the ganges river into farmland.   which is great they added a big affect on farming as we know of it today.
