The Exoduster were Africans that migrated to America in the early 1800s looking for better conditions to live. They were Southern blacks, former slaves, and after the Civil War, they wanted to improve his living conditions and moved. The Exodusters went to Kansas, leaving the oppresion of the Confederated States. They had hard times because they were poor people that worked the field. But one achievement of the Exodusters was that they founded many black towns.
