How were props used in the renaissance period different from those used in the early greek and roman times? greek and roman props were much more elaborate than those used in the renaissance period. props used in the renaissance period were much more elaborate than those used by the greeks and romans. props were not used by actors during either of those time periods, so there is no difference at all. the greeks and romans used weapons as props, and actors during the renaissance didn't.
