What are some effects video games have on people

Today, teens spend a lot of time playing video games, whether it be on their phone, console, or portable console. 

Although it's never good to spend hours (back-to-back) looking at a screen, playing video games does have some pros.

PROS:
→Playing games can improve your decision making skills (since you have to make "life or death" decisions on some games). 
→Since you can play games online, teens tend to team-up to play against others (which could improve their actual "team-work" skills.) 
→On some games, you have to make quick moves, or you'll lose. Some have mastered being able to think of their next move fast (which can be a good or bad thing.)
→Some games require that you to read maps and even play instruments (like the piano) (which can rub off on a teen in real life.)

CONS:
→Playing games for a long period of time will strain your eyes and possibly cause headaches. If a teen is known to have seizures, they should not play video games.
→If a teen is addicted to video games, they're likely to drain all of their money into buying more games for their console or phone.
→If a teen is always playing games, their social life may decrease and they may not want to do anything else (such as chores) because they want to make it to level 100 (just an example).

The best thing to do is to limit your time playing games. 

They make youth distant from society and they also give them bad injuries.
