Compare the negative effects that alcohol has on one’s academic performance ar the high school and college level?

One of the main impacts that consumption of alcohol can bring to a student is to delay his/her intellectual capacity and decline the ability to learn and study. According to the specific research based on this problem, it is proven that  high school students who drink alcohol are more likely to get lower grades as they no longer able to fit their regular studying schedule.
