Explanation:

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act, made in december 29, 1970, enacted by 91st United States Congress, the purpose is to govern the federal law of occupational health and safety in the private sector and as well federal government in the United States.

In other words, it is to ensure safety and healthy working conditions for workers at all levels.

It is managed and supervised by Occupational Safety and Health Adminstration otherwise known as OSHA, and strengthened or enforced at all levels, including federal and state levels.

Functions of OSHA in regulating the Act includes the following:

1. provides training and education,

2. Creation of awareness, and assistance to ensure that employers abide by OSHA regulations.
