When you run your blood uses more oxyegen up faster than if you are walking so you breath heaveir so that your blood can replenish the oxyegen it used up as a safety reflex that comes naturaly because without oxyegen in your blood you will die

Just try to give them some space. don’t cut them off completely or else they could become jealous, just give them some space and time to think. hope this .
