This are tips that helps to avoid the spread of pinkeye.

·         Stop using eye makeup until the infection is fully cured, because you could reinfect yourself with the eye makeup products. If your eye infection was caused by bacteria or a virus, change your old makeup or throw it away and buy new products.

·         Thoroughly clean your contacts before using them again.  As much as possible avoid wearing contact lenses until the infection is cured.

·         Change clean linens, towels, and washcloths daily. Don’t share towels, linens, pillows, or handkerchiefs.

It is oftentimes caused by a virus or by a bacterial infection, although allergies, chemical agents, and underlying diseases can also play a role that’s why we need to avoid Pinkeye.
