Give the First Aid and Home treatment in the following: a. Strain
b. Knee Injuries
c. Sprain
d. Fracture
e. Dislocation

( A ) Rest: Rest the injured part until it's less painful. Ice: Wrap an icepack or cold compress in a towel and place over the injured part immediately. Continue for no more than 20 minutes at a time, four to eight times a day. Compression: Support the injured part with an elastic compression bandage for at least 2 days.

( B ) ( i ) Stop your activity immediately

( ii ) Rest the joint at first.

( iii ) Reduce pain, swelling and internal.

( iv ) bleeding with icepacks, applied for 15. minutes every couple of hours.

( v ) Bandage the knee firmly and extend the wrapping down the lower leg.

( vi ) Elevate the injured leg

( C )

( 1 ) Rest the injured limb. Your doctor may recommend not putting any weight on the injured area for 48 to 72 hours, so you may need to use crutches.

( 2 ) Ice the area.

( 3 ) Compress the area with an elastic wrap or bandage.

( 4 ) Elevate the injured limb above your heart whenever possible to help prevent or limit swelling.

( D ) If it is an open fracture, cover the wound with a sterile dressing or a clean non-fluffy cloth. Apply pressure around the wound and not over the protruding bone, to control any bleeding. Then secure the dressing with a bandage. Advise the casualty to keep still while you support the injured part to stop it from moving
