I hadn't gotten my school work done so my mom has been constantly yelling at me for 2 weeks; She finally just beat me with a belt and she asked me why my assignments weren't done, so I told her I was depressed, and then she forced out of me and I said on the spot I was depressed because I hate myself, she got even angrier for some reason and started calling me selfish and saying I didn't appreciate anything they did for me. I do appreciate everything they've done but I just feel like I don't deserve it, It's been about thirty minutes and I can't forget about the way she mocked me when she left the room to go mimic my voice to my dad "I'm depressed!", and how she called me selfish, I have anxiety about being seen as selfish and greedy so, was I actually selfish?
