People abuse for many reasons narcissism is one, some ppl just like to be in control, ptsd, and other trauma from their child hood can cause anger issues or obsession with being in control etc

People have different reasons that they choose to abuse their partners or anybody else in their life. Some of these people have probably experienced abuse before or like to be in control of everything. It may be associated with mental health conditions or disorders.
