I disagree with this definition. The main aspect highlighted in the definition is the intent use of physical force, intent. Violence is not just measured on intent, just like how there is a difference between murder and man-slaughter, both are violence, one is intentional one is not (2 types, voluntary and involuntary and I am referring to involuntary). So if they're saying man-slaughter is not violence then they miss the meaning of the word because violence also means "strength of emotion or of a destructive natural force", so this proves that man-slaughter is violence but isn't intentional in some cases and it can't be intentional and unintentional, thus proving that violence is not necessarily the intent of physical force or power but the act of it.
