There are six components of health that are directly responsible for the wellness of any individual.

Wellness of a person is dependent on six components of health which are physical, mental, emotional, social, environmental and spiritual. All these components are equally responsible for a good overall health of a person. So wellness includes all these components in proper balance.

To get into a state of well-being all six components of health of a person should be in appropriate balance otherwise the health and wellness of a person will decrease because health and wellness depend on these six components of health.

Physical component consists of strength, speed, flexibility and endurance. Mental health deals with the  self discipline of a person. A person is emotionally healthy when he express his feelings in a positive manner. Spiritual health is about maintaining a spiritual contact with god. Social health deals with positive interaction of a person with his friends and other society members and environmental health is concerned with keeping the surrounding clean and healthy.  

It is impossible to be in complete well state all the time therefore, wellness changes time to time but  healthy habits and behaviour helps a person to remain in a well-being state for a long time.

If even one component of health becomes weak it will decrease our overall wellness therefore, components of health are directly related to wellness because wellness is the state where a person has the best balance in all six components of health.
