Choose one of the following natural disasters. you may choose one that might occur in your community. then, using the three parts of an emrgency preparedness plan, describe what your family would do during that natural disaster.

I am actually doing the same EXACT project right now at school!  Make sure when you make your emergency preparedness plan, You include the following 5:

Prevention:    What can be done to help prevent the disaster from taking place?  

Mitigation:   How can you reduce the effects of the disaster

Preparedness:   What preparations can be made ahead of time so that everyone can work effectively to improve conditions?

Response:  What can be done during the disaster to deal with problems?

Recovery:   What can be done to revert the city back to normal?

Also, you don't have to pick your state/province.  I chose Sao Paulo Brazil and tornadoes.
