In America the nutrition label gives us information about the requirements of essential nutrients. Each label with provide the consumer with the amount of portions and calories in the product. It also gives the DV ( daily value ) in a percentage for saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, dietary fibre, added sugars, sugars, protein and vitamins including vitamin D calcium, iron and potassium. These are also given as a weight per g, mg or mcg.
