In order for the nurse to identify if the diabetic client is indicating a presence of diabetic ketoacidosis is when different clinical manifestation occur such as: when the patient has been experiencing rapid breathing and he or she couldn't breathe properly, there is a rise in the blood glucose level which is not on the normal range and there is also a low level of plasma bicarbonate present.
