Describe ways that chemistry has improved health

Well Chemistry is the branch of science that deals with the identification of the substances of which matter is composed; the investigation of their properties and the ways in which they interact, combine, and change; and the use of these processes to form new substances. So, with scientists and professionals studying Chemistry, there are discoveries of medicine and antibiotics that help the health of humans and animals. For example, penicillin, the first antibiotic was discovered, helped scientists become more motivated to discovering more treatments and now today with the advancements we have, hard-working chemists and chemical engineers have helped to found modern medicine by developing novel pharmaceuticals, creating new medical equipment, and refining diagnostic processes.
