Kate a long time coffee drinker complains of pounding headaches and lowered mood when she skips her coffee in the morning. what is the likely cause of these complaints?

The likely cause of her headaches and bad mood is withdrawal. Drinking coffee for a long time get addictive because of the caffeine so it would make sense she would be irritable if she hasn't had any.

I think that It is because she is use to the caffeine and is then going without it which is taking away from her normal Coffee which is giving her a headache and a mood swing... Hope this helped
