Well, a main street opiate is Heroin. Heroin is a main leading cause of OD's  in the united states, therefore educating seventh graders about it, so that they never use it would be beneficial. It is also one of the most popular hard drugs in America. Teaching kids the effects of Heroin usage, and the long-term effects would hopefully prevent them from using heroin.
