Example: Turkey and swiss cheese sandwich with mustard on white bread Chocolate milk No. The meal doesn’t contain any vegetables or fruit, which are critical to a balanced diet. While dairy is important, flavored milk contains empty calories. Also, whole grains are the healthier choice. Replace the white bread with whole wheat bread. Replace the chocolate milk with fresh squeezed orange juice. Add a lettuce and carrot salad with a light vinegar dressing.

Breakfast: Two scrambled eggs with mushrooms and cheese wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla, Slices of melon, Glass of fat-free milk
Lunch: Two slices of sausage pizza, Garlic bread, Energy drink
Snack: Carrots and ranch dip, Chocolate chips, Orange soda
