my dad told me a story that is 100% true that when he waz younger that they went to the movies and he saw a owl and he sarted saying stuff to it trying to make it go away and it started attacking him. he said it waz a La Lechuza (like a witch but not like the ones that we know of) it is a Mexican Folk story.
