1.) Knowing how many calories there are per gram of fat can now help choose to eat better in the future, instead of eating something with 20 grams of fat and then has 180 calories.

2.) Checking the expiration date on the food will help determine whether or not if I should purchase the item. If it close to being expired I probably should not buy it.

3.) Expired food can be detrimental to my health and put me at risk of food poisoning or any other food-related sickness.
