It is important to address both physical and social needs because ultimately they can have an impact on someone’s mental health. for example if someone who he is used to being very active and and social suddenly gets a knee injury, in which they have to take a long time to recover and do physical therapy then they can enter a depression state. because they feel like they will be useless and they can’t do anything they used to do. A patient could just ultimately give up and will not respond to any course of treatment
