How do I relief top braces pain I just got them yesterday and all of a sudden they start hurting

I have braces and i’ve been there, eating warm food makes the wires tighten up, i’d recommend eating colder foods because it helps the wires expand and feel better on your teeth. Ibuprofen works too, if the wires stab you, wax is good.
