Well physical education and physical activities are very crucial because of how many people nowadays are overweight, are unhealthy, and grow mental illnesses due to not being active. Many people don't realize how much physical activities can improve your overall view on life.

To begin with, physical activities allow us to keep functioning. It helps us as we grow into adults. According to the, Better Health Channel, "Physical activity or exercise can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases like type 2 diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease." Many diseases like these could affect your life tremendously. Many people who are obese now wish that they had exercised more and tried to be more active. We don't even realize how much we are sitting at our desks for. The average person sits for around 6.5 hours. Being unhealthy could affect your overall mental state as well.

In addition, being overweight and unhealthy could really damage someone's mental state. In the article, Good Rx, it explains how obesity is most likely to lead to mental illnesses. Mental illnesses like depression and anxiety can lead to someone to attempt to off themselves. Obesity could really affect someone's mind set on life. They may think it is useless and that there is no way to look better. This will lead them to be too depressed to do any physical activity.

In conclusion physical education and physical activities are very important. We should take them more seriously. They could affect us in tremendous ways.
