Why can't people just be clean sometimes

Probably because we are always moving around and touching new things, and the grime from them gets on us. Humans also produce natural oils and dead skin cells which can make us dirty.

easy question, for  some people its harder for them to be clean because of their mental health, or what they consider to be clean, everyone has different standards for cleanliness. For example, if a person does the average amount of work to clean their room, it still might look messy to a person that cleans everything and is a perfectionist, if that makes sense. Also someone might be going through depression, and speaking from experience you loose track of time, you forget to brush your teeth, everything collects in your room, dishes are everywhere, sometimes you forget to eat, etc.

So try and be patient if someone isn't doing a "good job" of cleaning.
