Emotions - natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.

stress- can be defined as any type of change that causes physical, emotional, or psychological strain.

mental illness- A wide range of conditions that affect mood, thinking, and behavior.

regulate- To adjust to a particular specification or requirement.

cope- deal effectively with something difficult

self-control- the ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires or the expression of them in one's behavior, especially in difficult situations.

criticism- the expression of disapproval of someone or something based on perceived faults or mistakes.

self-harm- hurting yourself on purpose, can be done for many reasons.

therapy- treatment intended to relieve or heal a disorder.

depression- A group of conditions associated with the elevation or lowering of a person's mood.
