How can healthcare providers personal bias affect black and brown people’s experiences within our healthcare system?

It can affect them in a negative way as their prejudices can lead them to think about who they think to deserves medical attention and who does not.

Explanation: Prejudices can be very negative since they are based on assumptions that one person may have about another. People of color have long been the target of prejudice in various sectors, the health sector being one of these. A person of color may come to a hospital with an emergency, and that person may have to wait longer than someone who is not of color. Statistics show that people of color die faster and outnumber when it comes to receiving inadequate healthcare.
