It says here by the Oregonian/OregonLive.com they had recalls of whole fresh onions concerns about the potential contamination with salmonella, that the food and drug administration announced. The onions that are based on reported illnesses associated with salmonella consumption of the fresh onions from Mexico. 650 cases of Salmonella have already been reported. Frozen Shrimp was also found to have Salmonella in it too, but to not worry the illness has not had any cases, make sure you double check frozen shrimp that you may have purchased earlier this year.
