(This is if you live with your dad) If you don't live with your dad then it would be safer to come out to him, unless he's verbally abusive; in that case, it's best not to. Now, if it is safe to come out, then I suggest you just take a minute to tell him, preferably at night because people are more emotional, vulnerable and accepting then. You can also leave a note or letter if confrontation is difficult for you. If you aren't sure if it is safe or not, try to drop small hints until you're sure.
