Maybe there is something you were born with or something your personality outlines for you. I know how things can be, whereas I was born with ADHD and sometimes I feel that makes me over-think things. When I normally over-think things, it becomes almost natural for me to feel sad about it, or confused. However, if you don't think about certain things that could be making you feel said, they will eventually go away. You will most likely eventually forget them and move on. If you always look at all the positive things in life then it will be as if you didn't ever HAVE what you claim to be mental problems. Even though I can't escape things like that MYSELF I've seen other people overcome it. Always keep your head up and never lose focus of your goal, and you will be fine. If you focus on all the negativity then things will get worse. In other words just think of all the positive things that have ever happened to you, and take control of your situation.
