I’m not completely sure if this is what you mean but I think one step that you can take to guarantee life long happiness is to put yourself first. I know it can be hard, because you want to help others and make sure others are okay. But you need to do what you feel is good for you, which can mean keeping up with self hygiene, having days to yourself, and just relaxing. Another thing is cutting out toxic people and people that don’t bring you up or want you to do better for yourself.
