What symptom is an indicator of nicotine withdrawal? water retention, muscle twitching, chronic headaches. Please explain why I'm genuinely confused.

When sudden deprived of nicotine, the brain will no longer release the "feel-good" hormone dopamine which the body has grown accustomed to.

muscle twitching, chronic headaches.
