Grant and Amy have been friends since they were six. Amy does not talk to him much anymore. She is hanging out with a different crowd of kids who are known for being disrespectful to others and partaking in drugs and alcohol. One day, Grant sees Amy hanging out with another kid; both are smoking a cigarette on school grounds. He approaches Amy and tells her she should put it out before she gets in trouble.
