For starters children get fed what’s given to them, generally lower income families tend to eat more processed unhealthy food because it is inexpensive, fruits and vegetables and protein can be very expensive, there’s many different factors that influence ones food choice. it can also be cultural some cultures eat lots of starch and some eat more proteins .
