what would happen if there were no receptor proteins within a neuromuscular junction?

If there will be no receptor proteins in neuromuscular junction, "the muscle will have uncontrollable movement and also it will affect the nerve system."

Explanation:

If there were no receptors then the ions channels in the motor end plate will eventually remain open. Their will be formation of acetylcholine in the junction,and also the synaptic vesicles present in the axon side will not function anymore. As a result of this the acetylcholinesterase will remain inactive. And thus it will affect the nervous system. The movement of muscles will also become uncontrollable. This acetylcholinesterase is an ester that helps in neurotransmitter.
