An older adult client seeks for chronic constipation. what factor related to aging can cause constipation in elderly clients?

The factors are---

1) Less activities, like; exercise

2) Less intake of fluids

3) Diverticular disease--- happens when small pouches along the wall of the colon protrude along weak spots in the intestinal wall

Other cause can be - Ulcers, Polyps and Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GRD)
