Because a home heating system draws in all of the cold air and converts it to hot air and sends it back out. The thyroid gland creates t3 and t4 and then released into the pituitary gland which produces tsh which causes the hypothalamus to produce trh. It’s a chain reaction, if we didn’t have cold air, wouldn’t need warm air. If we didn’t have the t3 and t4 we couldn’t have tsh and trh.
