i've been exactly where you are, and it look longer than i thought i'd be here for, but if you feel that you can't trust your friend with your truth no matter how dark it is. you need to take a long moment to think about what's best for you and not trying to make her happy. because you are putting her happiness in front of your own and its not worth it. i had to feel alone for weeks before i realized that i am better by myself, and living for myself, and having my health as top priority rather than every day just being a background to someone who doesn't give me the same attention, care, and love that i need. (btw its okay to need love and someones attention, and it does not make you needy). lastly with saying goodbye i know how you feel okay. for 2 years its all i wanted to say but by letting people and situations go and having that stress gone, its worth it, and it sucks now but you always have to think, it wont always be like this, change is coming and its up to you decide what kind of change you want. trying to let go of mental pain by using physical pain isn't a release its a blanket covering what's really going on and at some point the blanket is going to come off any ways. so its better to face it now and start the healing process sooner than later before your trapped. i wish you the best and just know that even though i don't know you and you don't know me, i care about you and i want you to be here, in this life, with the future ahead of you.
