Resiliency
Explanation:
Coping strategies are an effective way of building resiliency. Coping strategies are both conscious and unconscious ways an individual adjusts to uncomfortable situations. There are also positive and negative coping strategies, but overall they build resiliency so the person can get through what they are currently experiencing.
An example of a positive coping strategy is prioritizing. When faced with multiple problems, a person can cope by prioritizing what needs to be dealt with first and work up the list. A negative coping strategy is denial, which is when someone denies that they have a problem and goes on with their lives.
