No, I do not think it should be banned. While it is harmful to users, it is their choice to smoke. They have the choice to either accept the risks, or not use them and stay healthy. The decision to smoke is a personal choice that is not to be decided upon by government officials.  It will only encourage people to smuggle. The deprivation of nicotine will grow so strong they will find ways to fulfill their needs. It also infringes on the first amendment, Freedom of religion. Native Americans use tobacco as a part of their religious ceremonies. The government also collects tax revenue from the sales. Without the tax revenue we will have to pay more on both state and federal taxes.
