This is grade 9 - high school (health)could anyone me answer this health question ? you’re at a party and somebody offers you a vicodin®, saying “don’t worry, it’s legal. besides, look at all the celebrities who are doing it.”i need to write a paragraph describing how i might respond to it. i need an answer soon as possible.

Vicodin is an prescription painkiller medication that is comprised of two substances:

Hydrocodone.

Acetaminophen.

Hydrocodone is an opiate drug that works as a pain reliever, useful in managing multiple levels of pain with similar efficacy to morphine. In addition, hydrocodone has some utility as a cough suppressant similar to codeine. The second substance contained in this combination pharmaceutical - acetaminophen - is an antipyretic (or fever-reducer) and mild pain reliever found in many over-the-counter products.

so, I'd respond with " Do you not realize house bad Vicodin is for you? Even if it's a pain killer, if I use it in a matter in which i don't need it for, don't expect me too go and use it because celebrities are be using it. Vicodin® can damage the liver if not taken properly. I'm not going to risk my health just to follow what other people are doing. Thank you, but no thanks." This might be one way to respond to it, but this is just an example. I'd recommend you to use your knowledge of what Vicodin can do to you and elaborate on why it's dangerous if not used properly.
