What gives you cues about want to stop and start eating

Your brain and stomach. If you personally feel like you're eating an unhealthy amount stop eating. (Don't eat too little though.) If your stomach hurts, then either you're allergic or you've eaten too much. Maybe even food poisoning. When you are hungry your brain sends signals to your stomach and you feel hungry.
