What is the difference between divorce and break-up?

A divorce is when a married couple split apart and a break-up is when boyfriend and girlfriend split apart.

Divorce would be the break up between two people who were both married. You need an annulment to divorce. While break up, is taking a short or long term separation of the two people who used to be in a relationship.

for respect usually. some people might be little awkward if you meet or some would be different. usually   you dont love people when you meet them depends on the type of person.
