What is chronic alcohol abuse? a year? 2 years? 6 months? i'm writing a story about someone with ptsd and i have no idea

In my personal opinion I think chronic alcohol abuse can go for many years some don’t even stop drinking but It ultimately depends on how much you consume in either a day or a week and then go from there
