This procedure is usually done in a lab, as an experiment. Since DNA is held inside the nucleus of the fruit, we would need to breakdown the membranes of the cells and also those that are held in the nuclei. You would also need to de-activate the enzymes, as they speed up a reaction, and here, all you actually want to do is extract the DNA. Next, you would filter it and eventually have the DNA of the fruit. Interesting process, isn't it?
