List at least five pflichtfächer (mandatory subjects) and at least three wahlfächer (electives) that are typically offered at gymnasium.

Deutsch is mandatory, and so is Mathematic (Mathe for short).

A Wissenschaft (science), such as Physic, Biologie, or Chemie, is also mandatory.

At a Gymnasium, at least two foreign languages are required to graduate - Spanisch, Latein, Französisch.

Electives are subjects such as Kunst, Musik, and Informatik.
