Wind occurs when air masses

another. what causes the
movement of air masses?

The ultimate cause of weather change is the amount of solar radiation that this planet

receives. The amount of energy that this planet gets from the sun alone is equivalent

to millions of exploding hydrogen bombs!  On a lark, I computed the energy equivalent

of the total amount of matter in the known universe (1 * 10^53 kg) using one of the

most (if not the) famous equations in history ( E = mc^2). It came out to 9 followed

by 73 zeros!  Then I computed the energy equivalent of an electron (1 * 10^-31 kg).

That came out to 81 preceded by 8 zeros!
