Identify the characteristics of tornadoes and hurricans

The characteristics of Tornadoes are that they occur in a warm, moist, dry, cool air environment, but can also occur with Hurricanes or tropical storms...Tornadoes occur on land, a majority of them being in Tornado Alley...The characteristics of a Tornado is that you have swirling destructive winds that can range from as weak as 70-80 MPH (EF-0) To as Strong as 200-250 MPH+ (EF4-EF-5) and they will contain flying debris if they pick up any while they’re on the ground...they’re a swirling black cloud that forms when two air masses collide (warm and cold) and they aren’t considered a Tornado until they touch the ground or surface...otherwise they’re confirmed Funnel Clouds. The characteristics of A Hurricane are that they occur in water and feed off of low wind shear, very warm SSTs (Sea Surface Temperatures), and other things available in the ocean...Hurricanes will sometimes come on land and then weaken significantly because there’s no water to feed off of anymore, but for examples like last season’s “Maria”, “Harvey”, and “Irma” that didn’t matter because they were already way too strong to be weakened much, but eventually over a long period of time being exposed to land, they crashed down in Intensity! The characteristics of A Hurricane would Be——1. The Eye (Very Calm and Sometimes Sunny/clear sky Few Minute Break)——2. The Eye Wall (Strongest Part of A Hurricane that would contain the strongest, most destructive winds, very heavy rainfall, and even tornadoes), and lastly——3. The Outer Eye Wall/Outer Bands (Contains less heavy rainfall, less fierce winds, but contains the more likelihood of getting a tornado on Land) Hope that helps- TM
