The most populated city is Java, with a population of 61% which makes it susceptible to resource exploitation.  

While the villagers rely on agriculture, population increase is also a concern for Indonesia. There has been transmigration to other cities which lead to fights with the natives. Transmigration is done to ease overpopulation, however, it threatens the countries forest.
